Worker Compensation in NJ deny me refund why?

I injured my back at work pulling a metal cart that was stuck with others when I did so I felt a sharp pain for couple of minutes and the pain calm down at first but as the day went by it was starring to get worst and worst next day I went to work with a sore back doing the usual working in the truck uploading a pallet full of merchandise. My heart my lungs starring to tie up a pain I had never experience I broke down in tears because I felt that my entire chest hurts . I told my boss that I needed to go to the bathroom I didn't felt good at all but cold water on my chest didn't work I knew this is really bad I need to go to ER. Boss told me nothing they can do for me that only thing they can do it's to call an ambulance, I told them I don't have money for an ambulance and pretty much I end up taking care of the bill MYSELF. They didn't gave me paperwork so now the Worker Compensation is denying my claim and no refund for ER or Medications. After ER episode the pain still there I end up going to an urgent care. Pain was BRUTAL I never felt pain like this DR said back it's swollen and I got Thoracic Stain on my back. 12 days later my job sent me paperwork to go to their DR and the DR diagnose same thing Thoracic Strain. I had been in deep pain for days, no sleep and I'm miserable and this Dr now sent me back to work taking strong pain killers. Worker compensation is denying my claim now because I was suppose to have paperwork from the moment I hurt myself. My employer pretty much screwed me by not giving me the proper information and I don't know what the heck to do with so many bills.

You should have reported it the first day you got injured. You need an attorney. Get an attorney who does not charge you until you get your Workman's Compensation to pay.

Employers that pay into Workers Compensation are suppose to have the paperwork to fill out for an on the job injury. You screwed yourself when you declined to use the ambulance to get from your job site to the hospital ER. About all you can do now is sue the boss.
