Would i be able to get a ssn and work permit?

Postby adaya » Wed Jun 27, 2012 12:40 am

Hi i am an illegal mexican that was brought here when i was 3 years old. I went to high school to 12th grade but did not graduate because i was missing some credits so i dropped out something that i now regret.I heard of the new law obama approved for people under the age of 30 and was brought here being a child,no criminal record, and attending or graduated high school or having a GED would be able to get a work permit and a SSN. I am 23 years old. So the only requirement i dont have is finished highschool. So my question is if i start my ged testing can i also be one of the people that qualify for that law?

It's not a law.

It's a policy.

And if you can't tell the difference between the two, then you definitely need to return to school.

It's not a law it's a temporary waiver.
