Would this make a good movie?

Warning: this movie idea is already being put into a script therefore it is patented.
I am a 14 year old aspiring movie director. I have decided to create a spy movie because I am a huge fan of the genre. The plot of such movie goes like this. In this movie a witty criminal by the name of David Sky is finally caught by authorities. Through a set of tests by RWB (red white and blue, an agency that is equivalent to the CIA but is top secret and handles more desperate situation.) find that sky is the man they have been searching for... An experienced computer hacker... One of the best. Sky is given a mission to go to a boarding house and identify a threat who is undercover and the agency believes might have started to create a software program to unlock every secure file on the Internet... A skeleton key. But Sky discovers two things much worse. First off the threat is his lost brother. Second the software is much much worse. The identity breaker. A software with the power to change any persons identity on governments databases or erase their identity. For example the president could be changed in the blink of an eye to be one of the worlds most wanted criminals. Now sky who accepts the full mission must now stop this software from launching society into complete chaos but more importantly save his brother who has turned worse than bad and through their complicated past you will see that maybe everyone isn't who they really are....

Please tell me what you think of the idea...
And wish me luck :)
This is my love and I hope that someday I will be up their with Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan as a great director

Best of luck to you! And, it is wise to have a copyright, to provide protection against people stealing your work. :-)

By the way, I think that you can have a reasonable evidence of copyright, by typing up your work and mailing yourself a copy of it. The postmark, if legible, will serve as proof that you had the idea as of the date given. If you do this, store the envelope for, well, about forever. And don't open the envelope ever, because that will void the copyright "proof".

I guess if the RWB has been searching for Sky for some time, then they may want him because they believe that he would be a great agent, and so they do tests on him. But if they weren't interested in him before he is captured, I don't know if they would care much if he were captured?

A boarding house is pretty specific a location to send an agent to. I suggest, just a city. Say the RWB tracked down the mysterious software traces to Prague or London or Memphis or whatever, and send Sky to try and pinpoint him.

I guess the plot could work. Some elements of it have been done before, and successfully too. There was a TV series, "It Takes A Thief", where a government agency used a criminal (a thief) to complete cases. SO, your plot can work too!

Patents have nothing to do with protecting a movie idea. Copyright doesn't protect any idea, only your particular expression of that idea. Now that you have ignorantly posted your idea freely to the universe, absolutely everyone is entitled to use your idea to create their own scripts and it will not violate any copyright anywhere.

Nice going.
