Would You Write A Book Report About "i Married My Mother-in-law"?

This is a fictional book whose title appeared in yet another query. But it is too scrumptious to pass up. Please write a book assessment of a book of this title. Normal overview. You know. Quick synopsis of plot, and then discussion of writing style and what ever else you deem suitable. Feel free of charge to indulge your impulses to produce outrageous plots and comments. Additional points if you can make your assessment sound like yet another character, fictional or true.

Hermes said: 1 This sounds like an interesting exercise, but unfortunately I don't have the time to do it.But you might be interested in the book "Forever Panting" by Peter De Vries. It is about a man who marries his mother-in-law. Well, he marries Ginger Truepenny, "...who is not exactly [his] mother-in-law, but close enough. She is the aunt who raised his orphaned wife Dolly, who spends most of her time writing plays. By such tasteful amendments does De Vries remove the curse of incest without seriously weakening the underpinning of his situation."(The literary sounding part of this comment is copied from a review of the book in "Time" magazine from May 28, 1973.) If you're not familiar with De Vries, he was a very funny writer, but may seem a little dated now for younger(forties and below) readers. I would recommend him to anyone and they can decide for themselves. He died in the early 1990s. His books are probably really inexpensive in used book stores. 68 months ago
