Xbox Connection Help!?

Xbox Connection Help!?

I'm trying to bridge my connection from my laptop. I've done this at my friends house before. My problem is when I right click my Connection Properties, under the advanced tab, there is no "Allow other connections to use this connection" Because, when my xbox is plugged into my laptop via the Ethernet cable from my xbox to laptop, my xbox doesn't show as a connection in Network Connections. Can anyone help?
