You would like to keep Mexicans from coming into the States but is this the only solution to the problem?

I mean you want to enforce immigrations laws that will encourage racial profiling and that have caused anything but wars in Europe?
You want to break families appart and also want to push young people back to Mexico that don't even know how to speak Spanish? I know about a quite a few stories like this
So to you it doesn't matter if the money spent in border security could be spent on things that would truely keep Mexicans from coming back?
Did you know that just blaming the Mexican goverment while smoking Mexican weed(if you do) does not resolve the problem?

Thanks to the lousy economy Obama has given us......less and less Mexicans are now entering the US
Soon Mexicans will be fleeing the US in order to return to Mexico.

Oh yeah, about that "break families apart" crap. The Mexican parent gets caught and starts screaming about the anchor baby being left in the States all alone. What is it about Mexican parents that they are so willing to leave their children here when they have to go back home? Not very caring parents, are they?

I want to enforce immigration law.
If it happens that the majority of people violating this law happen to be from Southern border nations and are primarily Spanish speaking, what am I supposed to do ? Ignore the fact they are illegal because they also happen to be "Hispanic" ?

I never said anybody had to break up the family.
The parents can take the kids with them if they want to.
If they never learned Spanish from their parents who's fault is that ?
If they are citizens they can stay if they want to.
The choice is with the family not the government.

We are supposed to do what ? Pay Mexico to keep its citizens in Mexico ?
I don't smoke weed. Mexican or otherwise and support long prision sentances for its use,possesion and sale.
Theres a deal we can work out with Mexico.
We will build prisons in Mexico,you can run them and we will send our pot smokers there.

By your reasoning, we should only respect those laws with which we agree. That's called anarchy, my friend. Anything unpleasant that happens to illegal immigrants or their offspring is not the fault of US citizens; it's the fault of those who knowlingly broke the law.

Racial profiling has caused wars in Europe? Say what? Don't know what you're smoking, but I'd like to get some of it.

I do not agree with the profiling just make it near impossible for them to work here illegally. They will leave when they are not making any money. Should we just let people break the law illegal immigration is not good for the country over all I am sure they would have a better life here that is not the issue.

The thing is, this is a totally phony issue. It's a real issue but the way we talk about it is phony. Nobody really wants to reduce illegal immigration, they only want to use it as a political issue to get people all excited and angry, to get their money and their votes and their support. But they don't want to solve the problem.

Both our political parties LOVE immigrants. The Democrats love them because newly naturalized immigrants vote Democratic about 95%, they are the most dependable demographic. Republicans love them because they work cheap, and cheap labor is the highest Republican value.

If you really wanted to reduce illegal immigration, you'd go after the employers that hire them. They don't come here to get free health care and welfare, or to have 'anchor babies', or to do terrorism or to destroy our country. They come here to WORK. If you prosecuted people who hired them, the jobs would dry up and they'd stop coming. The Republicans are never going to do that because it would result in upward pressure on wages, and higher wages mean lower profits.

The last president who gave illegals immunity was none other than Ronald Reagan himself. The last one who tried and failed was GW Bush. Yet the Republicans try to blame the Democrats are the permissive party on immigration. Cynical politicians like Jan Brewer pass laws they know will be found unconstitutional, so they can whine about 'activist judges' and 'judicial activism', and they don't have to live with the consequences of these stupid laws. In fact Alabama passed an anti-immigrant law that resulted in millions of dollars worth of crops rotting in the fields because nobody could be found to pick them!

NAFTA led to Mexico severely limiting farm subsidies which led to rural mexican farmers going poor even if they had a good crop.

You don't see educated mexicans in a Home Depot parking lot, do you?

My point: every government intervention has an unintended circumstance.

That, and making it easy to overpopulate the world with welfare, is just stupid, and does no one good.

No, thats not true at all. Properly documented tourists and visitors are fully welcomed.

What you mean to say is, "You would like to keep Mexicans from coming into the States illegally". yes we would.

There is a mechanism for legal visitors and immigrants. If they choose to ignore then f**k em. If they use it properly, then welcome amigo! glad to have you
