A question for Lawyers please (Forgive my ignorance) Legal issues?

1st question) when people go to Law school in the United states do they have to choose one of these; criminal law, constitutional law, property law, tort law or do they have to do all of them in their first year. What about their second year if they have to do one of these do they continue with it or what?

2nd question) Suppsing someone wanted to become a lawyer (to handle criminal situations for example casey anthony or michael jackson) and happens to go to a Law School what courses should he take?

3rd question) If someone needed to work for the government concerning legal issues what course should he/she study at a law school

Please guys make your answers very simple for me to understand thanks....
