Are these good subjects to take for A level?

Are these good subjects to take for A level?
I would like to criminal law in the future.

I have changed my options for A Level many times now.

I am quite firm on taking ENGLISH LITERATURE, HISTORY, PSYCHOLOGY & PHILOSOPHY.

Previously I was going to take English Language instead of philosophy.

I am in Year 11.

Are there any subjects which I should take instead of one of the above & if so then why??

Please add any relevant info if possible.

Much appreciated.

My daughter did a Law and Criminolgy degree and took A Levels in English Language, History and RE. I think it is very important to take English Language, as obviously the career choice you are making will involve a lot writing and proof of a good standard of written English is vital.
Psychology would be helpful, but I don't think Philosophy will be particularly beneficial.

Funny i took English lit, History, philosophy and economics. ALL OF THESE ARE DIFFICULT especially philosophy, if you are adamant however you want to go into criminal law then all are very good and could definetly get you a law place in uni however all require alot of work especially philosopy
