Choosing my A levels soon, and I can't decide between 2 subjects?

Postby hampton83 » Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:52 pm

Okay so I am 100% going to do; Human Biology, Psychology and Philosophy and Ethics.
But I have 1 more option and 2 more subjects I would quite like to do, the 2 subjects are German and Chemistry, Which one do you think is more of a respectable A level?
Also, I have to start thinking about what i want to study and university, because there are obviously desired A levels for particular degree courses, I am really struggling to decide between criminal law and criminal psychology. have I chosen good A levels for either of these 2 degrees? which out of german and chemistry would be more desired if i were doing either of these courses?

Thank you for any help!

Firstly I don't know how many A-levels you want to do a level 3 student choose on average 3-4 subjects.

Secondly choose Chemistry because most university prefer science subject rather than anything else.

Thirdly I did A level chemistry 2 years ago, and from my experience its really interesting specially doing chemistry experiment.

Personally I would choose Chemistry, because Psychology has some elements related to chemistry (e.g. chemicals in the brain), but German doesn't seem that related.
And yeah, i think those subjects are suitable for what you want to do :)
I did Psychology at A-Level and really enjoyed it. Good luck!
