Are these types of driving mistakes common?

I fairly recently got my drivers license (about four months ago) and I feel like I make more mistakes than normal. I've never hit anything, been in an accident or gotten tickets, but maybe that's just luck. I still get nervous when I have to make left turns at busy intersections, It takes me more than one attempt to pull in to any parking space on the left side and just the other day I was turning left on a unfamiliar four lane road when I realized I was in the far oncoming traffic lane for a few seconds. I quickly changed lanes, but I turned thinking that the four lane road was two separate oncoming incoming roads. I feel so stupid for making such a dangerous mistake. Do normal drivers ever make mistakes like these? or am I just a really terrible driver?

Once you start driving alone with your license, you will have that feeling because your parent/guardian isn't right by your side telling you what to do. It's fairly normal. Just practice more and more! If you are going to travel on unfamiliar roads, bring a person over 25. Good luck
