Are you for an Internet Bill of Rights? See Video?

Crazy people in the governement are constantly out to take away some kind of fundamental right we have. In the movie Total Recal the government is so out of line that the leader charges people for air. I feel that limiting the Internet is a big mistake for society because it allows people to share information rapidly, express their feelings, and sometimes vent when angry about something. On the most part all of this is good and you have to tolerate some of the bad to keep the highest echelon of good and we already have laws to punish people. The US by the way has the largest prison population of any country.

(this part is additional and you don't have to agree with it to agree we need our internet freedom)
Michio Kaku says the internet is a big part of our future and I agree with him. In the planatary theory he uses we are a type 0 civilization (.7 to be precise). To become a type 1 civilization we need to advance the internet not limit it. It's just information (0's and 1's to a computer).

So I'm curious what is your opinion!

HAH, governments own every square inch of land :P now they want to control the digital realestate too.

I've been making music collaboratively for a loooong time as a remix artist, and that proposed SOPA and PIPA would make it ILLEGAL for me to use any samples by other in my remixes...

I only remix Creative Commons Legally, and they are trying to make it Illegal, for people to use other peoples CC-by samples and songs in remixes.. SAMPLES THAT PEOPLE ARE GIVING PERMISSION FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO USE. ILLEGAL??

I agree with the point that the internet is like part of our evolution, and therefor something we can't let one, or few entities own.
