Assisted voluntary Return from UK?

Postby rickie » Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:49 pm

I applied for Leave to remain but got denied on the basis that you cannot change from a vistors visa to another within the country, youd have to do it outside the UK. I was also denied because i didnt show that i didnt have enough emotional ties beyond the "norm." I was advised to apply for leave to remain and even have to pay for my biometrics to be done but they knew from day one that i wouldnt get accepted. I was 8 months pregnant when i was spose to leave the country but asked the MP for advice and i was allowed to have my daughter in a private hospital. Everything has gone wrong, i cant live with my family here(in laws) and i wouldnt be able to work or do anything so i might as well go back rather than apply again. I was wondering if the UKBA could help me in any way getting me back home. I was already settling thinking my appilcation would be accepted since im no kind of threat or came to try to scam the country or live on benefits. I might get people Pissed off expecting the UKBA to help me go back home but they should have just returned my cheque and application worth 550 pounds which they advised me to fill in knowing i cant switch visas from inside the UK.
