Formalizing A Voluntary Change Of Custody

Formalizing A Voluntary Change Of Custody

Postby Piran » Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:58 pm

My difficulty needs a young youngster custody case in the State-Of: Ga
My husband has 2 young children from his very first marriage. A lady that's now 11 and a youngster that is 12.
Their breakup and the complete time since have been very sour and there's been 4 court instances concerning the little ones.
The final court case was up in court almost this previous year but no ruling hasbeen made even so. Because court case my partner was requesting joint custody and a decreased quantity of his youngster-help. There is been several occasions when she'd not let him commence to see the children on his visitations till he called the neighborhood sheriff.
The boy has steadily been hard in college and heading from getting A's and B's to getting Y-D. He was also started of the colleges soccer team due to the fact of his conduct.
Fourteen days just before mom of the youngsters called-up and stated she cannot manage the boy any longer and she wants him to maneuver out.
My husband picked him up from college that day and he's been coping with us ever because then.
We did contact the lawyer active in the court case on to cope with this new and significantly sudden scenario. Sadly it is now been fourteen days and practically nothing has occurred. Mom has legal custody of both young children and my husband has to cover her youngster-assistance for both young children.
My dilemma is:
What do we have to do to alter the legal custodian for the kid who's at present coping with us?
What'll occur to the child assistance paid to mom for the child though he was truly coping with us?
What'll take place to the impending court case after the mother voluntarily has quit custody of 1 of the youngsters?
I'd be really grateful for just about any replies.

1. Your spouse's lawyer may cope with this. 14 days is not quite a long time - especially considering the fact that 1 week involved a vacation weekend. Give it time.
2. Nothing. Child-Support will not change until custody is transformed and the CS order is altered.
3. It'd have to be reversed - again anything for the spouse's lawyer to offer with.
