Best starting .22LR rifle for IPSC for a 15 year old?

Hello, I am sure you have seen my past questions about the same topic and sorry if I am getting annoying, But I have one last question. First, let me clarify, just because I am 15 doesn't mean I cant handle a firearm, I have taken the hunters safety course, and I have numerous family members in the military and law enforcement that have taught me how to use a firearm safely and correctly. Now that that is out of the way, I would like your opinion: Should I buy the S&W M&P 15-22 now for low level IPSC and for plinking fun, then once I get older and have a job, (and if I get into IPSC more), should I buy and customize a ruger 10/22 then?

You did ask the same basic question earlier. I read the answers, and they seemed pretty good.

At this point, since you've been given probably more information than anyone could have foreseen, your best bet is to make your own mind up. Neither one is a bad choice.

A Ruger 10/22 is much cheaper than the M&P15-22, and it would perform admirably for the purpose you envision. For money's sake, you might as well just buy the 10/22 now, and upgrade it over the years as you advance. Of course, that's still up to you. If you want the M&P, get it. It will work for you.

If you want the MP 15, get it and quit asking the question multiple times.
