Can a teacher legally prevent you from leaving school while it is still in session?

I feel like if they kept you there, even though you strongly didn't want you to be there, or didn't actually do something that would legally confine you to the building, it would go against some sort of right, like false imprisonment. Calls home don't mean anything to me either.

If you are enrolled in public school, then you are legally a child while in school and the school is acting as your parent. The only way of getting out of this is to drop out of school. If you do that you will never get a good job in your life.

If you're above the age of majority (mostly eighteen) then you can just get up and sign yourself out of school.

Yea, Its called Truancy and its Illegal unless you 18 in th United States.

If you are at school RESPECT the school rules.

If you are 18 and STILL are enrolled at school then

you MUST obey the rules.

If you don't want to be in school at 18, then tell your

parents you rather want to go to work , and find a job to

support yourself.
