A 80's rock songwriter/ friend was invited to attend one of my art shows to play music last month. recently he was interviewed by a local paper and he stated it was his art show. I was upset and posted the truth on my wall, after his manager came to me and told me the newspaper editor did a misprint, she then apologized publicly and told the truth.. there after someone in the public wrote a comment about me as the artist who lent out a hand bringing in artists as well the songwriter.. this upset the manager and she was sending me private texts messages. I kept correcting her on misinformed information she was hearing.. the thing here is the songwriter said that his manager didn't know certain things about him which I supposely mentioned to her in the texts. [seriously she knows everything about him]. i got a call from him he was suing me for declamation of character and slander over texts with his manager causing her to want to leave him and for posting on my facebook wall the truth about my art show. nothing bad was ever mentioned about them in public or private, only true facts were mentioned. I even wrote on the newspapers comment section 'I still wish them great shows and success in future revenues''. my question is can i be sued?
