Can i become a fire fighter or police officer with my juvenile record sealed?

when i was 15 i got went to court for 5 charges. Marijuana possesion, drug paraphanelia, battery school employee and disorderly conduct. i did a plea agreement and they droped everything except disorderly conduct. i havent been in trouble with the law at all since then. When i tried to join the army they said the military sees plea agreements as me pleading guilty to all charges so i couldnt enlist. but i turn 18 next month and im getting my recored sealed. Does the fire department and police look at legal records the same way the army military does? do you think i have a chance at working for the fire department or maybe even the police?
