Can I buy a flat in UK being a international student?

Can i buy a flat in London, being a overseas student? I'm 18+ studying in a college and go for LAW studies into a university. so it would be a huge time paying my bills and rents fees in couple of years. If i want to buy a flat here in UK by advising my parents to give a sum of money to invest it for the UK property, than I might not be forced up on paying my bills and rent house cost.
But i do want to get back in my home country (in Asia) after i completing my graduation. So as you know LAW studies are tremendous hard i can't take a hell lot of pressure being a student.
I'm 20 in my age now. And a student of a college. but am I permitted to buy a property here in my own name and accommodate it?
