I am also following the traffic laws. Would that be a PETA/blue cross factor to ride an animal to work?

Can I Purchase A Horse And Ride If I'm Looking After It Right It To Work And I'm Not Getting On Roads?

the SPCA may well have difficulties with making sure exactly where you had been "parking" it for your day was appropriate for the mount. There are certain mount distinct site visitors regulations to hold yourself informed of and, obviously, it would be condemned by PETA as cruelty whilst the condemn something but delivering domestic pets in to the wild to die of starvation, predation, and contact with be cruelty.   TheLightWorks 31 weeks previously

Thats not legal. Sorry. You cannot leave an animal in a parking garage all day. The garage is not zoned for animal parking.I realise of course, that you are not serious - in this or your other question. However, your humorous trolling is a breath of fresh air compared to what we usually get!Welcome to askville, Son of Iz.   TurboB 31 months ago

Actually, I really like the idea. Our modern world here in the US is set up for cars not horses like foriegn countries were. But I think the time for the horse will come back around. So don't sell your saddle just yet!   kritiper 31 months ago

It depends on the state. Most states have some sort of laws which govern using horses on public roads. These laws are to protect the public and the horses. And, some are to protect the asphalt. So the answer to your question is YES?you can ride your horse on certain public roads, where the state allows you too. All states prohibit you from limited access highways.   Geppetto 31 months ago

Probably the only way you could take a horse to work would be if you had a stable or fenced in corral to park him in.   Tharnpfeffa 31 months ago

Fact is, when most people got around by horses, there was MUCH complaint about the feces clogging the roadways and causing the logical health hazard. While I'm no fan of the exhaust of automobiles, and I think Thomas Midgely, Jr. was the spawn of Satan(look him sometime), I also think that dying of lung cancer in 30-40 years is better than dying of dysentery next week. ANY animal will leave feces and that's technical littering. Cats clean up after themselves, but even dog owners are required to bag and bin the feces they leave. Up here in Claremont, we've the "Thompson Creek Trail" where one can ride a horse with impunity for all two miles of it, without having to clean up(because no one cleans up after the coyotes or deer or bobcats, either). But to work, you can assume you'll be stopped by an officer, if only because someone else finked on you.   danielpauldavis 31 months ago
