Can I get this red light ticket revoked?

I got flashed by a traffic camera for running a red light. It went from yellow to red when I drove thru.?
I'm 20 years old, I've had my license since I was 17 and have a CLEAN RECORD. I was going from school to work when this was happening. If I tell the judge that and tell him my record is clean, what are the chances this drops and I dont have to pay this? Because I'm already in debt with school loans that I am paying off.

Almost impossible in my state they don't go on your record.

There not easy to get reversed without a lawyer. One technique I've heard that works is if you go and time the duration of the yellow light (how long it takes to go from green to red) and compare that to the state recommended durations for yellow lights based on the speed limit along the street, you may be able to convince the judge to throw it out if they've shortened it beyond what's safe.

You have to understand going into this that the purpose of those cameras is not to promote safety or to enforce red light traffic laws. The purpose of those cameras is to generate revenue for the city. View yourself as a big pile of cash and figure out how to convince them not to come along and take some. That's the sort of argument that you're going to have to make. You might not think you can afford to pay the ticket, but they can take your car away and sell it to pay for that ticket (at least that's what they're thinking) - so pleading that you're poor (and not a big pile of cash) isn't going to be easy.

since you are aggreeing that you broke the red, you owe them money now. only option is how to pay your fine.

He's not going to drop it just because you don't have money but you could ask to do community service instead of a fine.
