Dear Forums,
I was driving home from work (I live in California), going quite fast (55-60 on a 40 road) and an unmarked police vehicle right beside me (going just as fast) turned on his lights. I've always thought they have to be behind you to pull you over, so I didn't bother doing so. Instead, I eased off and eventually dropped to the limit. At one point, he slowed down, too, I'm thinking to check my plates. As I was cruising along the limit, he flicked off his lights and went on his way. Was he just trying to tell me to slow down or should I expect a speeding ticket in the mail? Don't I have to sign the ticket for it to be valid? (Except for speed cameras and such things)
Thanks!
