Can I Sue the Man who raped my daughter if he wasn't 18?

Last year we found out that my step brother had been molesting my daughter we had him arrested and the only punishment he recieved was a year probation he doesnt even have to register. Of course i am pissed my daughter has been in therapy and has over came a lot she just turned 7 . The whole situation makes me sick and I dont know what to do I want him to suffer for what he did... but he will be 18 in less than a month and I wanted to know if i can sue him for personal injury or whatever and if i can get a permanant restraining order on him for my daughter???

Yes you can. See a lawyer. But it isn't like he has anything to sue for.

You can not sue a minor or an adult for something they did as a minor. However in some states you can sue the parents. You need to discuss with a lawyer

You can probably get a restraining order, but suing is pointless.
