can mylot turned into scam website in future??

It's always a possibility but I find that it's highly unlikely. They have a mean's of paying their members as I know for a fact as i'm working on my fifth payout which I should reach by the end of the month! Not only that but they have been around for a while & have a proven track record for paying & paying fairly quickly. Paypal is apparently A-OK with them and Paypal has been around for quite a while and is a legitimate payment processor. These are all very positive signs that Mylot is going to be around for quitee a while. Not only that but other then the few "bad eggs" that tried to break Mylot's rules, there is about 95% good reviews about this site. I have yet to see someone really complaining that had a good reason to. Don't worry. It's not going anywhere any time soon. Just keep on Mylotting & enjoying making easy money , Sconi and other's have already answered but the R stands for, Registered Trademark.

No I do not and the "R" on any logo means that it is registered and belongs to the company that owns the product.

This question should be directed or emailed directly to administration. Our qualms, fears and insecurities can't be answered by members. You could ask them how possible will that to happen. We can have speculations but at the end of the day, we all need solid assuranc ethat nothing like that would happen. So direct this question to the authority so we can get solid and immediate respond!

the small are in the logo means "registerd" just like tm in some comic book characters name that means "trade mark" its just a copy right so no one can use the word myLot but the owners themselves. and the pay out is so small, it wont turn into a scam, well atleast i hope it wont.

friend, i have joined lots ptc website and posting site over the internet but many of them turned into scam or stop working or does not giving payment. can mylot also turned into scam in future??tell me in detail either your answer may be"yes" or "no" .if your answer is yes,then up to when this site will be working. what does the "R" symbol in circle signify with mylot logo??tel me in detail

The r must stand for rebel or rare. Just kidding I have no idea what it means, In looking at this discussion I don't see it. Of course mylot can go belly up any of these sites that pay money can run out of money. But it's been around awhile so I'm sure they are trying to manage it for profit and will continue to do so.

The R in a circle on the MyLot logo is an indication that the MyLot logo is a registered trademark. something like that. I have noticed a lot of the ptc sites you've mentioned. and yes quite a bunch of them have turned out to be scams or victims of online attacks. I wonder if there is any kind of investigation done regarding all this ptc sites. You see, to fully find if the sites have indeed become scams or turned out to appear to be there has to be some kind of investigation. Take for instance if you own a ptc site and you're quite an honest guy, yet some online attacks have been made, and your site crashes... that makes you lose a lot of money on the time you have been down. Therefore, you are incapable of paying your members, let alone get paid by your advertisers who see no reason to do so since your site isn't up to it. It's a risky business I have to say. Some of them indeed turn out to be real scams, but we all need the real story so we know which one's are legit. Now back to the registered mark on MyLot. I presume it means the business is registered. Now go look at some ptc sites. There aren't any registered mark there. But how do you register a business on an online business? a really great discussion this is. I think we can get more out of this in some point in time. Cheers!!!

Where would the scam be? They would have to have us invest our money and then take it and run. The only thing that we invest here is our time, so somehow I doubt it. Besides, the word SCAM is many times used incorrectly. People will call a failed website a scam. Scam is when someone intentionally goes out of their way to start a website and never intending to fulfill their promises.

Well, I hope not! From what I can see, the ptc market is very different from sites like this one; new ptcs keep popping up, attract lots of people, maybe payout for a while to attract even more people, and then stop paying (possibly because they're no longer able to afford to, or possibly because to scam people at a certain point in time was always part of their plan). There's no guarantee that myLot won't someday become a scam, but it's a very well-established site, with over one hundred thousand members, and with a good reputation. And it's unlikely that they'll suffer business-wise in the way that some ptcs do, because the population here is always growing, which can only be good for the revenue that they get from advertisers. And to me they just seem too darn trustworthy to not pay us for any other reason!
