I want to get these boots, but I can only find them in patent leather and I don't want them to be that shiny. Does anyone know of a way to make patent leather less shiny?
Thanks xox :)

Patent is a shiny material, so there is no way to make it less shiny as that is their natural way. A way that I could think of is you could wear the boots for a long period of time, don't wipe the boots, don't clean them etc. They become less shiny if you don't clean them. If you don't want to do that then I guess you have to look around for other boots which are not patent

to clean patent leather, you use vaseline, it keeps them supple
and it makes them very dull, then you buff it off
but i really dont think you would like the dull look it gives before buffing

i would look for new boots
