Car Insurance And Renal Car Time Line?

Car Insurance And Renal Car Time Line?

Postby Brentin » Fri Feb 07, 2014 2:43 am

Hello. I was rear ended and my car is totaled. I have rental insurance for 15.00 /day and the other drivers insurance co. is picking up the remainder of the bill. I called my insurance company today and they told me that they only give out rentals for 13-14 days maximum, or once a claim is offered. Then if claim is accepted, my insurance co. will go to litigation with other company to be paid back. Does this sound correct? Shouldn't my insurance company ask the other to give me a reasonable amount of time to get shop for another car that would be adequate for me and my family? In addition, how do they expect me to get to my physical therapy appointments due to the accident? Thanks.

I'd really like to know what cars have to do with kidneys. Did you hurt yours in the accident?(sorry, couldn't resist. The typo made me do it!)

hiilo replied to post #4: 5 In your opinion, is recoup a bad thing? I assume it is a double edged sword because I just want what is fair, but insurer is looking to give me the least reasonable amount while lawyer would look for most they can get. 61 months ago
