My family is having a really hard time right now, my dad gets paid on Monday but we're completely broke until then. I know title loans are a horrible idea but we would only need a very small amount, so there's no question about being able to pay it back. My questions are: first do I need insurance? And also, can I get approved if I have a speeding ticket? Thanks :)

Better idea: Take stuff to a pawn shop for a short term loan
Take anything in your house that is not attached to the floor
This way - if you can't pay back - you just lose stuff - not a car

And yes, you need insurance - they will ask

You need to survive for 3 DAYS without selling your car. You WILL NOT be able to pay back the title loan. EVERYONE is positive they will. If HALF of them were correct, the title loan companies would be out of business.

For the record, they care about what they can sell the car for. They couldn't care less if you can legally drive.
