Sold a Vehicle to an individual. I let this person keep my plates until the next day. She was gonna send them to me in the mail. I filled out the slip at the bottom of the title and sent it in to Sec. of State of who I sold the vehicle to. The person didn't send in my plates and didn't transfer the title. The person instead, had gotten a traffic ticket which was sent to my house in my name. So, I called DMV and Sec of State and the man at Sec of State told me that he is sending me a form to revoke my plates for me. Then, he tells me that if she gets another ticket in my name, or it has been another 30 days for a total of 60 days, they will revoke the title back to me. Now, my question is, if they revoke the title, does that mean I own the vehicle again and I can hire a professional to go repo it???
