So you didn't go through the checkout at all? You just (absentmindedly?) walked out the door?

Caught Shoplifting

Some tips about what occurred,
I'd to get into Fred Meyers and get some goods along with a blue Rubbermaid container for keeping some paper-work in my own storage. And so I place the bathtub within the cart first then positioned my goods in part the bathtub. I then had a need to obtain a situation of container water and so I put the cover about the bathtub piled the water onto it subsequently acquired a sizable package of treats and lay about the water. In this entire period I had been on / off my mobile phone generating and receiving calls. Therefore while I had been speaking about the telephone I strolled Wright from the shop next point I realized I'd a girl getting my arm and walking me back to the shop and never letting go of me till I had been in her workplace. While she asked me why I made it happen I informed her and she explained to not lay to her she asked me if I had been bad or had no work I then described the tale again and he or she got angry and said she was fed up with my lies. Next thing I understood the neighborhood PD was there showing asking me if I understood that I had been under arrest I stated I wasn't informed that. Then he stated I had been he read me my Miranda rights. Asked me if I'd employment then asked me my tale. Subsequently offered me a solution having a court day on it.

Keep in touch with an attorney when possible. Many of them provide free services. Make the most of that. Keep one if you're able to manage it.
If you cannot afford an attorney, request a public defense within the court.
Because it is the very first time, generally, you'll obtain a probation along with a good only. No prison time.
Some towns in WA present pre-trial diversion programs, some do not. Which town did it occur in? Should you qualify to get a diversion plan, you are able to prevent a conviction.

Caught Shoplifting

I’m not sure if you are familiar with the lay out of the store but it’s very easy to walk write out if your heads in the clouds and you’re trying to get a million things done before you have to be home. I understand and admit to walking out with out paying but that was not what I intended when I was shopping to do. I have no problem paying for the goods and even some sort of fine but to be garbed in the parking lot and to be told that I lie and now to be going to court and not knowing what is going to go on is a bit extreme. I just want to know what to expect. Will this be a scene out of Judge Judy? Who is all going to be in the court room, what’s the best case and what’s the worst case scenario here? I have no record of any type. I'm just dazed and confused right now.
