I always knew I wanted to do law enforcement, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do within the field. So I picked Criminal Justice. Well I'm now in my second semester of my freshman year and after tons of research I've decided I want to work within the parameters of federal law enforcement. I think I have come to terms with myself that a BS in CJ will get me no where, other than a job within state and local law enforcement. I've noticed that federal agencies like the FBI like Accounting degrees. I also noticed that they look into people that have graduated from law school though. I just don't know if I should go (1)Accounting which seems least interesting to me. (2) Political Science and law school. I would be open to this idea. (3) Or stay in my CJ degree. I'd be glad to be happy to hear from anyone that has an experience within these fields or majors.
