My left mouse button clicks and work however it thinks that it is a right click. So if i left clicked on my desktop it would come up with right click options like new, properties etc... I've checked the settings and it should be working correctly. It this purely a hardware problem and the left click mouse button is contacting with the right click button? Thanks

i think it is a hardware problem. but just to be sure, go ahead and update the mouse and keyboard drivers. also, make sure there are no virus or spyware that might be causing this.
