Crack heads next door - questions for people who have been there?

Postby kienan » Sun Jul 08, 2012 5:49 pm

Sorry for the length, but this is the deal:
Our cracksnacking neighbors moved into this rental about 3 months ago. Right off the bat, we could tell just by looking at them they are on meth. They never go to bed, have 8 junk cars they tweak on, park up and down the block and racing them up and down the streets, have about 10 people living with them, 4-6 dogs at any given time, and the traffic in and out 24-7. We have witnessed them unloading things from cars like tv's, computers, stereos and bolt cutters. Us and several other neighbors continually have called the rental company and complained of the many, many issues but nothing seems to get these people kicked out. I called several numbers and reported it as a drug house. Have called the police on them. We just keep calling and nothing is happening even though the rental company always has information like them receiving cease and desist letters and they told me they were in the process of eviction, but have not told any other callers that. We are scared for our home and our son's safety, (as we were also told by another neighbor who actually buys drugs from them that they carry guns). Last night the smell of pot was so bad it kept us awake. We can not continue like this. We work too hard to have these pukes take over our neighborhood. I recently learned that these are cousins of someone I work with who said we should be scared, as these people are cracked out and steal things for money.
Is anyone else going through similar issues or been through this? Stories please - what happened, how long did it take and what did you do to get your neighbor hood safe again?
Something has to happen, they are so obnoxiously loud and keeping us up every night.

Here is something you can do, have the witnesses report this themselves. Maybe not the one who actually does buy drugs from them but the other ones who informed you that they are armed as well as the family who told you they regularly deal in stolen property. This is enough to get them arrested on firearms and burglary charges. Also videotape their daily commings and goings (discreetly of course) as that can also be used to provide proof of your story to police.

For protection I would recommend purchasing a weapon for defense. You cannot go wrong with a Glock, those things are made to take the toughest beatings in the world and still put an accurate shot downrange. So maybe it's worth looking into. I hope this helps and hope you resolve this issue quickly and without confrontation.

Do not take the law into your own hands, peices of s*hit like that are not worth going to prison for. Call the cops constantly, that is why they are there, it is their job to take these pukes out.

Yes I also recommend a glock. That way when the cops tell your neighbor you ratted on them you have a home defense weapon.

Report them to the police... Just don't call 911 unless it's an emergency.

Crack heads next door - questions for people who have been there?

First thing to do is make sure you exercise your right to bear arms and buy your self a nice home defense weapon, Id recommend a Mossberg 500 shot gun or a nice Glock. Secondly if you guys really feel like these guys are real scum bags I guess id call your local police tip line and see if you guys can make a report on them and eventually make a case. Bottom line you shouldn't have to put up with that kind of behavior from your neighbors to where you worry about you and your family's safety.
