Dad Called On Birth Certificate, But DidN't Sign

Postby Neason » Sun Jun 15, 2014 11:28 pm

Our buddyis ex simply experienced "his" child, and he was thinking about not signing the birth certificate and obtaining a courtroom-requested paternity test.
Nevertheless, she completed the birth certificate together with his title and her parents delivered it in. Her parents state my buddy does not have to signal it for him to become the legitimate father. Is that this accurate? He didn't agree to using his title on the website, thus why he was not likely to sign it. It doesn't appear right.

Father Named On Birth Certificate, But Did Not Sign

I am assuming these were not committed or seperated inside the time period that determines he may be the authorized dad?
Or even, subsequently no, it's not accurate and he should truly persue his choices because they refer to determining/creating authorized paternity.
A title positioned on the birth certificate doesn't, in and of itself, create authorized paternity.
