Daughter in law right in India?

Hello All,

Would please anyone clear few things. thanks in advance.

My friend is living in England, he got married in Indian in 2007 and only been back to India once (same year 2007). Well, as he never bring his wife over here in England. his wife lived with his parents until 2011 and my friend sent her money every month for spend on whatever she like until 2011..so since the lady not living with his parents anymore..her parents threatened his parents that they will sue them etc etc..so what she can do to her parent in laws? can she claim any money, property from them? please note husband dont have any property in his name in India.

Yeah she can until they are divorced, they are considered and wife as equal right on husband's property earned by him after marriage. So she has right.
