Do Consumers, and consumers alone, create jobs?

Postby maddox » Wed Dec 21, 2011 11:22 am

Just curious about this post I have read... What, if anything other than consuming is needed to create jobs?

YUP consumers consume... That creates a vacuum for job creation... Yet I must ask...

Without a Job will the American consumer consume more than the bare necessities?

As we watched 100,000,000 American jobs leave America we have in retrospect watched the Income levels falling exponentially... With less money in the pockets of less and less Americans will the Consumption grow or shrink? With Less Middle Class incomes due to less and less available Jobs in America's job Markets will that lack of jobs curtail Consumers ability to consume?

The advent of Import Tariff Free use of near Slave labor usage in Communist China ($0.12 cents an hour) to replace American jobs "IS" the stake in America's heart placed there by our Politicians in DC that care more about Personal Wealth and the Personal Wealth of their donors than the American People and America itself to have a higher standard of living.

This is NOT a Single Party Problem... GHW Bush wrote the Communist Backed "Free" to use Slave Labor "Trade" Agreements he named NAFTA 1992. He then threw his re-election to WJ Clinton because he knew the Democrats would only vote this into law if they had a Democrat POTUS back it... GHW Bush was correct. and WJ Clinton signed the horrid Law into effect in 1993...

So perhaps there is some validity to the question but without the Protections against $0.12 cent an hour Wages America will NEVER create any jobs other than SERVICE oriented jobs to service those same Rich Slave Labor Traitors who allowed America's Jobs themselves to be stolen away by a Communist Country using $0.12 cent an hour wage...

Without truth on these traitorous treaties... NOTHING gets better... In reality it can not...

FNS

Only Slave Labor Wages can compete with Slave Labor Wages… That is the reality why America will either return to the 1930’s wage scales OR ill see its economy Collapse… We are behind Greece by two years… Their economy is imploding due to their jobs going to Communist Lands who use Slave Labor… We will follow if the Slave labor usage path is not altered. In My Opinon.

No consumer "demanded" a microprocessor before it was invented and manufactured and sold. No consumer "demanded" an iPhone ahead of time. I could say the same thing for millions of other products and innovations. People were perfectly happy with horses and buggies before the invention of the automobile.

No. There is a symbiotic relationship between consumers and producers.

No, it is the coupling of consumers and PRODUCERS that creates jobs.

Without producers, consumers will only turn to foreign suppliers to satisfy their demand.

The consumer centric economic model is killing our economy, for the reasons you so accurately described.

But this is so well known, and it has been explained so many times by so many people (including Ross Perot in his 1992 "Giant Sucking Sound" speech), why isn't anybody listening?

Democrats and Republicans are working together to do the bidding of the ultra wealthy power elite, using mass unemployment to force U.S. born workers back into the sweatshops. They are using free trade to send jobs out of the country, and they are using H1B visas and illegal immigrant workers to soak up jobs here in this country, all to create a scarcity of jobs for U.S. born workers.

Democrats and Republicans put on a public display of fighting over things, so they can set us to fighting amongst ourselves. Then while we're occupied with issues like flag burning, abortion, and the debt ceiling, the politicians meet in secret to conspire against us behind our backs.

Neither side alone creates jobs.
You have to have managers to run things, and good workers to make AND BUY the products.

The rich wouldn't have a dime without their employees and consumers. The money doesn't just magically appear because a rich guy starts a company.

You evidently have done a lot of looking into this issue. Our problems are
consistent with inactivity on the part of our Federal Government. Leadership
means more then lip service. Deeds. are the answer.

1. Adopt a full blown balance of tariffs levied against imports to balance
the playing field on goods and services sold.
2. Re patriot the dollars that are over seas. No tax charged or levied as
long as the companies start building and hiring Americans to make new
and existing products,
3. 0 corparation tax base,
4. Open up the oil patch.

We could be at 5 % unemployment within 1 year.

Absolutely. Nobody will produce without demand. I could care how much money you hand a rich person, if there is no reason to invest capital, they wont.
