Do corporate lawyers in India have to work for long hours and are not given holidays even in weekends?

Hello everyone, i am in the eleventh standard of science stream. I had decided to pursue corporate law as a career option because of its phenomenal growth in the recent years. However many people have told me that the work is financially rewarding but then you need to sit for long hours at work and you are not given holidays on weekends. I have even heard that you need to work for an average of 10-12 hours everyday. So i wanted to ask you all whether this is true because then it will be really hard for me to carry on and pursue it.

Long working hours depends on exigency of work.It requires lot of devotion & concentration in your
job but it's challenging too with lot of opportunities to grow.

@ sunil - thank u very much... but what about the weekend part??? do we have to work out at weekends also???
