I took my 95 bmw to a garage 2 times, like 2 weeks apart. About a month later my car started making loud noises so I took it to a bmw dealer and they said that part was installed wrong. I went back to the other garage with the paper stating it needed to be replaced so after much hassle they gave me my money back. They told us that they hired someone who didn't know what he was doing basically. About a month later the second part they fixed broke. I again took it back to bmw and paid to have it looked at and they said it needed replaced. Since we had a hard time the last time we went and this part costs us almost 500 to have fixed the first time we decided to take the owner to small claims court. My question is, does the judge come out during the proceedings to check the car out? The reason im asking is because we have a rental car, because I can't drive the other one and they didn't tell us we needed to bring it. I have all the papers from bmw stating it needs replaced so I thought that's all I'll need..plus the receipts from the other garage when he did the work.
