Do I Need a law licence or any specialty license to practice a debt settlement business?

I am opening a financial advisor company to operate 1). DEBT SETTLEMENT 2). ASSET PROTECTION. 3). Register patent, Trademark,copyright 4). Setting up Corporation such as LLC, INC, SOLE PRIOR.

Please any one that able to help me to find out if I need a law license to practice my business mention above or I just registered a business license at my county.

We would need to know what state you are practicing in.

Odds are you will need one or both and have to register with the state banking comission.

I'd start with them.
