Do cops and other types of law enforcement officers feel safer at home and off duty in their personal life?Since most criminals don't want to harm them and they are armed and know special tactics. Do you feel safer than the average civilian at home?Please law enforcement officers answer.

Police have a stressful job, the average policeman doesn't live to c 65, not to dieing on duty, but 2 stress related things, mostly heart attacks

No, becasue of what they see cops tend to be overly vigilent at all times.
They tend to feel less safe for others, family, around them than Joe Blow does.

No, we are not more comfortable at home. I don't even like to have my kids let their friends know what I do. Our family could be a target for some criminal we upset. What is the easiest way for a criminal who wants to hurt me? Hurt my family.
