Do Many Main Real Estate Firms Identify Online Real Estate Schools?

Postby oded » Mon Dec 30, 2013 4:22 am

Are on-line actual estate schools, such as for instance Allied True Estate School, respected by essential true estate organizations? I am contemplating a lifetime career in house(industrial) law and am contemplating acquiring an Allied System to acquire some extra background in the region. I'm let's assume that the much more factor would be to move a state's home assessment, no matter exactly where you did your & quotclass& quot instruction. Cheers!

As lengthy as the school is authorized by the state, then you are fine getting your license anywhere. Nonetheless consider about this. If your potential broker does ask where you got your license and they have by no means heard of it or they are from out of state, they may possibly queries how good your learning encounter is. I would stick with a good neighborhood college in your state that has many techniques of delivery. True Estate is a folks company and with people comes reputation. I would go with the school that has the greatest reputation. If you are seeking for a recommendation, I went to Champions College of Real Estate in Texas.

For something like real estate, getting the license seems to be much more important than anything else. I've known people who didn't go to school at all and just studied for their license on their own and they've had no trouble. Allied schools is accredited so there's no reason why it should be looked down upon. Here's a good comment I found that's not related directly to real estate but to distance learning in general:There is no evidence that employers consider a distance degree inferior. In fact many corporations use distance methods to train employees. Employers are not qualified to make that decisions about university quality. That is why accreditation organizations exist. If the institution is accredited, then it is "socially legitimate". In addition most traditional universities offer online education. Consider the vast investment in the internet- years of research, thousands of brilliant minds, large corporate investments, technological infrastructure, etc... Surely this was not created only for the dissemination of pornography! Education is what the Internet was born for!!!! http://questions.ednews.org/Distance%20Learning%20Degree.htmlAnd there's also a good article on distance learning here:http://distancelearn.about.com/od/usingyourdegree/a/onlinedegreeuse.htmI know your question was specifically about real estate companies, but I don't find anything that would suggest they would treat your choice of school any differently from other types of employers. On the contrary, with so many online real estate courses available, it suggests people are finding this to be a successful route to earning their license and going to work. So I don't think you should worry and I think you've probably picked a good school.I hope this helps!!
