Does costco still require you to take the quiz when you apply online?

My sister in law works for Costco and informed me that there is a quiz at the end of the application. I had applied for Costco a couple years ago and do remember the quiz. But when I applied today it didn't make me take it! I'm a little puzzled and my sister in law insists it's still required yet I wasn't required to do so. Did Costco remove this from their application process? I received an e-mail from Costco stating they received my application. Any help would be appreciated.
