Does this sound like Medical Malpractice or should I let it go?

My mother died recently due to complications of a CT Scan liquid. Kaiser Hospital told her to take her diabetic pills in 2 days after the scan. Well she did just that and she died because of it. When she took her diabetic pills like they told her to the dye/liquid was still in her body so when the diabetic pills was taken it caused her massive kidney failure and she died. The hospital knew she was older and taking pain pills which pretty much meant that she didn’t process food and go to the bathroom like a younger person. They should have told her to take the diabetic pills much later on at least 4 days. My family just feels they should have monitored her better. Does it sound like a winnable case or should I just let it go and let my mother rest in peace?
