Employed By A Lender I Owe Cash. By: Bradley1

[Edited and reposted. The Guidelines of the website, through which all consent to follow upon enrollment, suggest that calling businesses by brand is prohibited.]Time: 8/3/2006 12:18:15 PM State: ILAbout annually 5 before I quit spending my credit card debt including two bank charge card balances equaling about five-thousand bucks. I really hope to possibly wait till I'm in a much better place economically to pay for a combined decreased amount of all my debt or even to not spend at-all because of the statute of limitations defense. My buddy works in the lender and claims I will obtain a job there together with his research. Might any issues occur from operating in a lender I owe money to? Might they consider my paychecks? Could operating there influence the statute of limitations period of time, like reset it?I believe the clear answer to these issues is not any, but I thought I'd create sure.thanks

Date: 8/3/2006 5:27:36 PMFamily members in the banking industry assure me they do credit checks and you need to have a clean record.I don't know if they can garnish your check, but I think it very unlikely they would hire you in the first place.

I suppose some banks seem @ it case-by-case. They've to really get your authorization to draw credit. You are able to describe oneself @ that point...like "I'd some credit problems in university but I'm focusing on getting things swept up' (Fairly difficult to do with no employment, right?). I'm certain if you should be competent and also have an excellent meeting, they might consider some issues into account. Let's understand how it goes.

I doubt they'd fire your buddy as he's not accountable for YOUR monetary matters. Give me a rest, that's probably the most ridiculous thing I've heard. FYI...I worked to get a lender and called a buddy who'd exactly the same problem (she revealed this tome AFTER she got the task). She was chosen...no-questions asked. I'd to file Chapter 7 while operating there and that I had a charge card w/ them which was incorporated. This didn't produce any issues and that I was really marketed. Poor things may happen to good people. I'm certain you're not the only real person within this scenario. Banks care more about legal history much more than poor credit. If businesses did not hire people simply because they had credit problems...this country could be in an environment of difficulty. Best of luck!

I've worked for the largest banking organization in the world for almost 25 years and I can assure you that at my bank we wouldn't hire you if you have a record of a bounced check. Bankruptcy is OK. We have to term/not hire people that have bad credit and have done nothing about it, but regarding a bk we will hire, we don't discriminate on that level but you wouldn't be hired for the financial area.If someone already employed there referred you, it does not reflect on them.Good Luck

Date: 8/3/2006 7:00:11 PMI think you'd have the snowball's chance in you know where of getting a job with [the bank], owing them that kind of money, even with your friend's recommendation. They might even fire him for referring you
