Family Divorce Question?

I will be moving from my home in Northwest Indiana to Indianapolis for my job. I am the mother of my son and am divorced from his father. I am aware that his father can petition my move and I could possibly not be allowed to move with the child. However I was wondering how often the court allows this to go through? I have done everything proper up until now, I have provided him in a written letter my moving address, phone number, and even the preschool our child will go to. As of right now I am abiding by the law.

However I was wondering just how easy it is for the father to petition my move.
