Fraudulant Signature On A Deed

My Grandmother owned half of her parents home in Introdacqua, Italy with her brother who lives in Brescia, Italy.  My Grandmother lived in the U.S. since 1939 and she passed away in 1998 due to alzheimers complications.  She was diagnosed with Alzheimers in 1992.  My grandmother and grandfather would visit every summer and stay in her parents home.  Since my grandmother has passed away we have just recently found out that someone signed her name on the deed in 1996.  My grandmother visited with my mom and aunt in 1995 and that was the last time she ever made it to Italy.  Even if my Grandmother signed the deed, she had Alzheimers at that point and didn't know what she was doing.  We have doctors documented records of that.  What can we do, the deed was falsely signed(forged) to make my cousin(my grandmothers brother's daughter) beneficiary.  We need serious help.

According to italian laws you can file a petition for the deed is declared false and or ask the Public Prosecutor to charge someone for falsifying the signature.

I suggest you to appoint a lawyer in Brescia to examine documents and arrange a proper defense.
