I've a friend who's a senior. She's decided that she should seek bankruptcy relief. She was likely to get it completed pro-se, but I believe that'll be too problematic for her. Does anybody know where she could possibly get free of charge legal aid for this objective?

The Brooklyn Bar Association has a large pro-bono bankruptcy program.
Call the Brooklyn Bar, and ask for the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
