Freedom of speech or conspiracy against our president? Where do we draw the line?

Postby eddis » Fri Apr 01, 2011 12:38 pm

Yes, liberals are a domestic terrorist group trying to take us down, I agree. Free speech means free speech means free speach. Prez can do his job even with people talking bad about him, others have done it before him.

I think you are full of it and just want to stir up trouble. If you believe the only kooks in the wood work are on the right then you are in total denial. Censorship is the way to achieve freedom and justice for all those that you agree with. Be careful what you wish for, that powerful domestic terrorist group could include your name if you disagree with our beloved leader!

Wait what? You're calling this guy a terrorist on account a of mean remark? I'm sorry, but if you want to live in a country where you can't call the president names then I suggest you move to China, because that's not what America stands for.

The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newspapers. Thomas Jefferson.

I feel very queezy about this subject, and I can't say for sure I've heard anything yet that I think rises to the level of insurrection or something of that nature but I think they are teetering all over the boundary, and at the very least, the civil disruption of public assemblies and the gun toting thing seem to me like more than ample circumstance to break out the rubber bullets, tear gas and battons. Somewhere, a solid line does separate protected speech from mob action (maybe even some RICO code might apply to FOX) and if things escalate just a bit further, I hope we start discovering the locations of those lines.

Freedom of speech or conspiracy against our president? Where do we draw the line?

I think u need to have your head examined. Obama, Pelosi and Reid are the ones that are breaking the law. They keep changing little things in the Constitution "to make it relevant and bring it up to date" Actually, the whole Political system is full of holes. We need to 'Un-elect" all of the people in the Congress and Senate and put in some new life. Their ratings are poor to say the least. They tell me now that our Notorious Leader is starting to butt into what they want to teach in School. After his little speech to them on the 8th he wants them to do some "classwork" filling out some questions for him. Enough is enough. Leave our kids alone. In fact leave us all alone. I was doing better before he was elected.

I wish the President no harm. I wish him a long, happy, and healthy life. I pray that he is able to break his smoking habit.

I did NOT vote for him, nor would I ever.

I HOPE NONE OF HIS LEGISLATION PASSES. NONE OF IT.

He is a social idealist and his views for the direction of this country directly contradict with what our founding fathers had envisioned for us. He has recruited a slew of people to support him that have directly, indirectly, or intend to cause harm to the U.S.

President Obama’s situation is analogous to a 4th grader trying to teach a college level Physics class. He is in over his head.

There are certain conservatives who, either maliciously or being too lazy or stupid to think for themselves, have allied themselves against the Obama administration.

Idiots, kooks and wild-eyed freaks are not always confined to the fringes of society. Some of them are otherwise respectable members of society. Take Glenn Beck; he is fomenting this nastiness with sometimes outright lies. And some people eat it up because that's what they want to hear.

I think a significant portion of it is just racism, nothing more.

What people don't realize is not only do you have freedom of speech you also have the right to not listen. If you think what they are saying is wrong, don't listen. Freedom of speech isn't just for people who agree with your views, its also for people who don't share your views. Find a news cast that agrees with your views and you will be happy. But I bet even though you hate it you watch Fox 99% of the time just so you have something to complain about.
