GS: Are US traffic laws sexist?

Postby gofraidh34 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 8:36 am

It has been proven women are more prone to road rage than men. Is this because our traffic laws are more favorable toward men?

No, a law is blind to person. Women are terrible drivers, as a rule and if they weren't texting or talking on the phone, they still can't drive. When someone almost hits me (a pretty regular occurrence) it's invariably a woman.

I was taught to drive properly, that's why so many women ALMOST hit me. I can dodge lethal SUVs with the best men drivers.

I am a woman driver by the way. I keep my car under control and my attention focused on my driving.

Yes and I know it will be many years before we unearth the full depth and breadth of the bias. This is another injustice faced by women, and another reason to donate and volunteer for feminist organizations.

I don't know about that. What I do know is that women can cry their way out of a traffic ticket. The closest equivalent to that for a man would be bribery. A man can do no such thing.

No, it's because women can't drive as well as men, so they get frustrated easier.
