Have you actually gotten paid money in any class action law suit? How much?

Most of us have received mailings from law firms saying there is a class action lawsuit that affects us. We have to fill in a form an send it in to get out part of the money if the suit or settlement are successful. We have to fill out a form and send it in if we want to opt out.
But despite filling out their forms, I have never ever heard anything further, and I have experienced a few of these mailing involving different companies. .
Are these class action suits just for the enrichment of lawyers?

I did, made 3 grand I donot even remember ever shopping in the chain store they were suing. Easy money.
