Help me and my dad with wotkers compensation problems?

So he had surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome may 31 and he is back on the job making pallets using a heavy air gun he wants a different doctor because he thinks that that doctor since he is from the company he just wants him back to work and can he go to any doctor and does workers comp cover any doctor..he was hurt in the job and sent to a doctor ge did surgery and he sent my dad to OT therapy and was released on full duty July 16 but his hand and arm still bother him I called his insurance and they said WE WILL NOT willingly pay for his other doctor..does this mean it's lawyer time???and they also said that since that doctor did his surgery he should go back with him now. But he has been released what can we do in this case?

What kind of doctor do you need in Rockford? Is this for workers compensation? A good source to use is www.healthgrades.com - you can get reviews and doctor info.
