If I settle my workers compensation case can i receive unemployment compensation?

I live in Florida and planning to settle my workers compensation case and was wondering if I will be able to receive unemployment compensation until I am able to find a job.

workers comp is not relevant to an unemployment claim. as long are you are currently able and available work you can qualify.
